Greetings CANSI Colleagues, YOUR INPUT IS REQUESTED

I am writing to see who will require accommodation in Whistler during the National Seminars and AGM from Dec. 4 - 8, 2008. The Pacific Region Refresher sessions will run concurrent with these sessions. More details will be published soon at www.cansi.ca. CANSI will organize accommodations on behalf of out of town attendees on a shared room, dormitory style, with kitchen basis. The cost estimate is $50 per night per person depending on how many people express interest. It may be less and we will do our best to seek out the best deal. Please register for the seminars and AGM on line at www.cansi.ca/en/courses/. There are options in them for accommodations.

We ask you to commit soon, so we can make all of the arrangements well ahead of time. We will count up the registrants as of Nov. 7 and book hotel space based on that head count for each night. The actual cost will depend on market conditions, how many people sign up and what available space there is in Whistler. You will be asked to pay the difference or receive a refund if it is cheaper during the event. You are free to make your own arrangements for accommodation and sign up for the seminar only.

The Technical Committee would also like input on content for the on snow sessions. Please email any suggestions or comments to technical@cansi.ca and marks@telus.net and we will do our best to accommodate.

This is an amazing opportunity to ski at the 2010 Olympic venues for both the Nordic and Alpine disciplines. We will have guest presenters join us that will ensure a great learning and sharing experience on the snow.
