On Saturday December 8, almost 60 telemark skiers converged on Mount St Louis Moonstone, near Barrie, for Ski Telemark's annual Telemark Warm Up Day Event.

Mother nature cooperated by supply good snow conditions, and a steady amount of snow falling throughout the day. Starting out with a group warm-up stretch, skiers were sorted into groups for instructional clinics led by Ski Telemark's CANSI Instructors. The sessions continued through the day, with just a brief break for lunch. After the end of skiing, there was a social with finger foods, draw prizes, and viewing of video shot during the day. A good time was had by all!

As the only maritimer there that I know of I had a great time! There was some great skiing and good camaraderie (although I am still puzzled by the Ichiban reference :-)).

Holly, Steve, and their instructors run an awesome show. Pat yourselves on the back.
