Why You Should Continue To Pay Your CANSI Dues - by John Gallagher Posted on Mar 6th, 2014A lot of us take a CANSI course to learn how to teach cross country skiing but then feel there is little value in maintaining our membership. An event that happened a few years ago drove home the value of, not only paying our dues, but regularly attending refreshers.
Proposed New By-Laws Posted on Feb 7th, 2014CANSI’s Board of Directors proposes that the membership approve new By-Laws that meet the new rules for Not-For-Profit corporations in Canada. At the AGM we’ll raise a motion to adopt them immediately. They were developed by a lawyer working with Jeff Hampshire and reflect the considerable recommendations that many of you provided after reviewing the previous version. See the AGM page to review them.
A French version will be available before the AGM. Note that the English version will be the official version, but the French version is intended to be as close as possible based on a translation done by a certified translator of English to French.
Feel free to send any comments to Jeff at email@example.com.
